...especially when your drywaller covers up outlets in the bathroom and you have pictures of where the boxes actually are underneath the drywall.
And this after he decided painting is going to take too long and he wants to charge us an hourly rate ($35/hour!).
Grrr...contractors....

It is hard to find good contracters these days. Do you know a good roofer to recommend?

In the St Louis area, YES. I highly recommend Dave Dornbach (314-752-5842). We've used him for both of our houses now and he and his team are FANTASTIC. They actually left our yard cleaner than it was to begin with. ;) They have done both of our flat roofs (complete tear-offs) and I would call him for any roof (complete or just repairs) that I needed.
