Thoughts on a boy

The blackberry plants are definitely getting too big for the bathroom. They are running into me when I am trying to get into the shower. :) It's beautiful and sunny here, so tonight might be the night they make it into the ground. We've got a meeting with a mortgage broker regarding a house we might be interested in buying. We wouldn't move into it until after the adoption is complete due to it needing some work (exactly how much work is yet to be decided, and depends on how adventurous we're feeling when we discuss it) so we won't have to deal with any address changes mid-adoption. We're still waiting on our landlord's document so we can send it to join the rest of our dossier already waiting in Ukraine. :)

Last night the kids were all out in the street playing basketball and football with a couple of the dads in the neighborhood. One of the kids got mad and ended up going home because he couldn't control his temper (he was actually sent home by one of the dads). It is interesting to see how much anger so many of the kids have now. It makes me very sad. Childhood is supposed to be happy, yet there are child soldiers in many parts of the world, and horrible things happening to children all over the world. I pray for God's protection on all of the children, but I know He is not responsible for the evil in our world now. We are.
