Eve reading books with Papa
Dana had her second run-in with Mama today and once again, Mama won. The girl is stubborn and I have a feeling we're going to be in for a few good temper tantrums when we get home. However, she clears up pretty quickly and becomes obedient when she realizes we won't give in so I think she'll be a quick learner. ;)

Tomorrow the boys will be going with us to the orphanage. The plan is to have them and the girls play outside on the orphanage playground so that they can meet before the girls come home. Hopefully it will be sunny again tomorrow and even warmer!
And, just in case you felt things were going a little too perfectly, we've come upon a small hitch. I'm not going to go into a lot of details, but we've hit a paperwork snag. Right now we're still scheduled to have court on Thursday, and if that happens we will be doing our best to come home this weekend (and will then come back in a couple of weeks and get the girls). But if the paperwork problem cannot be resolved, we might not be able to have court when it's currently scheduled. Our facilitators are working very hard to get this resolved (one office is holding everything up, and everyone else is okay with the paperwork from what we understand) and hopefully it will be taken care of in the next day or so.
Please pray for our visit tomorrow and our paperwork glitch to get cleared up! :)

I will be praying for your paperwork!
I have prayed! I'm so glad to hear of the time you're having with the girls. Can't wait to hear how the meeting with the boys goes.
Do the boys recognize that people are speaking Russian? Are there any remnants of the language left in their heads? I'm always curious about language acquisition and loss.
I never for a second imagined that you'd be without glitches or adventure. After all, you are in Ukraine. Hopefully things will work out for you, though.
Good luck with your whole family visits. Our daughter was with us for everything...SDA, court, first visits, all other visits, etc. It was quite the eye opening experience!
Darn those glitches! But then again, it wouldn't be adoption from Ukraine without at least one or two! I'll be praying!
You guys never cease to amaze me... I have so much admiration for you. I really think all nine months of my pregnancy (morning sickness included) are not as taxing as the process you undergo to add to your family. God bless you guys! We are praying in Omaha!
Praying here in Grab-Your-Lasso. Can't wait ot hear how the meeting goes between the boys and the girls. Would also love to hear how the boys are responding to being back in Ukraine.
Praying for you guys! I love that you're able to blog so much while you're over there. May God bless the paperwork!!!!
Praying that God would work in the hearts of the people who are in your path, knowing HE is in control of the process! I love reading your progress with the girls. I know you understand that much of the orphanage behavior goes away once they are out of the orphanage.
PS: We LOVED those store pizzas. The mayo wasn't the issue as much as the shredded carrots for our daughter! LOL!
Dear Dima & Zhenya, Hi buddies! I have been reading with my mommy everyday about your trip. I hope you guys are having fun. I think all the playgrounds sound fun! Your friend Garrett.
praying that paperwork through & on to court!
Thanks for the updates. Thanks for being realistic about behaviors, etc. I do hope you are still able to have court on Thursday.
Joy,RR
I am so far behind!! I have not been to your blog in quite awhile and did not know you were in Ukraine already! Oh my goodness! I am so happy for ya'll!! I have not done a good job keeping up with blogs lately as we are getting ready to travel to Ukraine. We are being submitted tomorrow!! Hard to believe..
I will pray you can still have court on Thursday. Are you going through Kostya? If you see him, please tell him "hello" for us. He is so amazing!
Okay, I just saw that you arrived around April 8th and court may be this week??? That is FAST!!!! Oh my goodness!!!!
Hope all goes well! Can't wait till you post pictures!
Praying for paperwork!
