A glitch

We're not coming home.

At least, not yet.

The US Embassy wasn't able to issue one of the girls' visas today, so we can't leave tomorrow. We should be able to get the visa tomorrow (really hoping, since we just paid to change our flights and I don't want to change them again!). There were a lot of potential factors that played into not getting the visa today, but in the end it doesn't matter. All that matters is that we didn't get it and we're hoping for tomorrow.

Other than that things are good here. I can really only say that now because I've had a lot of chocolate. ;) The girls are doing really well. Today in the car Bianca was talking to our driver and was talking about her "sister, Julia". So sweet.

We did a family tradition this morning at a specific playground here in Kyiv. All 6 of our kids have now played on the same playground while waiting to go home. :)

She is simply gorgeous! Im sorry your travel plans were delayed, I can only imagine how frustrating that must be... but soon enough, America will be blessed by 2 more.

I'm sorry you bumped into a glitch. That kind of stinks, but hopefully it's just a little blip on the screen. In the meantime, you've unknowingly been able to help another adoptive family in Ukraine. Ashely (fumia.blogspot.com) was running into roadblocks getting her daughter's passport, but she's dying to come home, so I mentioned that you had saved some time and had your first appointment even before you had your passports in hand. She's now in Kiev, had her first appointment and is waiting for the passport to be shipped to her. Thanks for your help! :)

Bummer so sorry you didn't get both visas today. Praying that you will have the other one tomorrow and you can come home.

Bummer about the glitch. Praying today goes/has gone better.
By the way, we've also played on that playground :)
