All in the day

Picture me.

(I realize some of you don't know me so this may be a bit more difficult...just play along.)

Picture me.

In a 3-hour meeting.

With 30+ of my closest friends coworkers and various people I've never even seen before.

Now picture me dumping my iced mocha all over the floor in the first ten minutes of said meeting.

And then standing on napkins for the remainder of the meeting to try and soak said mocha out of the carpet.

There's a reason I'm not named Grace. ;)

Picture me with 20 faculty & residents from the Pathology Dept at breakfast. I was the first one to sit down, placed my coffee cup between 2 uneven tables and spilled the whole thing all over the white table cloths!!!! I spent the whole breakfast trying to soak up the mess with napkins!!!!
We're twins this week.....

So glad to know I'm not alone! Maybe it's a scientist thing...or a frazzled mama thing!! ;)

Picture Zeke, with or without his cone on, running into walls and tables in our house, even though his vision is perfectly fine. Picturing you and Zeke at your meeting kinda makes me smile. Just kidding! - I hate it when stuff like that happens to me!

No worries, Courtney. I still think you're a picture of grace.

Too funny! But I can top it: I was 14, and got embarrassed about EVERYTHING. I was in a clinic in a church building for a basketball physical for school. I had to have a urine sample, which horrified me enough as it was, but then I had to carry the cup of urine through the foyer with all of the mothers and their babies (for the clinic) and I DROPPED THE CUP OF MY URINE ON THE CARPET IN FRONT OF ALL OF THEM!! I thought I was going to pass out from embarrassment! I have vague recollections of my mom running to my rescue with paper towels from the bathroom trying to help me soak it up, and trying to comfort and console me because she knew how HORRIFYING this must've been for me!!

So there. I upp'ed you one. ;op

Oh my goodness, Missy. I hope you never had to go back to that clinic again!! I think I'd still be having nightmares about that one! LOL
